The American Bobber Patent Compendium
contains the complete original text and diagrams of
over 800 United States patents granted prior to 1976
for floats and baitcasting devices,
all on one convenient CD.
On this CD, the patent image files are stored by date range. The patent number and the patent page number are reflected in the patent image filename, so you can quickly and easily locate the files you seek.
The patent image files, as supplied by the USPTO, can often be improved with a bit of tweaking. This is one of the major reasons each Compendium also contains a combination TIFF reader and editor that can be used to perform such useful tasks as:
- Cropping or resizing the image to fit on standard-size paper.
- Rotating the image file to straighten it.
- Deleting extraneous black bars and blotches.
